Dynamite Publishing has released THE ART OF PAINTED COMICS, a giant hardcover tome that chronicles the history of painted comic books and graphic novels, as opposed to the traditional inked line art comics that you typically see.

The book covers all of the greats, including Frank Frazetta, Moebius, Dave McKean, Bill Sienkiewicz, Simon Bisley, Bernie Wrightson, Olivia, Adam Hughes, Basil Gogos, Alex Ross, the Hildebrandt Bros., Tara McPherson, David Mack, Joe Jusko, and many more.  The book also includes a section on Matt Busch!
