ARTINSIGHTS ANIMATION & FILM ART GALLERY EXHIBITS BUSCH ART!
Hollywood is Dead artist and creator Matt Busch has recently struck a deal with ArtInsights Animation and Film Art Gallery to exclusively represent the zombified parody original paintings.
You can see them all on ArtInsights’ official website HERE.
All thirty Hollywood is Dead paintings are now currently on exhibit in the ArtInsights Animation and Film Art Gallery in Reston, Virginia. Ironically, while Busch has slaughtered these masterworks into bloody pulps, portions of the gallery sales will be donated to the Nation Film Preservation Foundation.
Gallery owner Leslie Combemale states, “I love parody and edgy creepy things like zombies, but we don’t want to overtly offend anyone or defame our favorite movies or poster artists in any way. Yes, these images are over-the-top, but they are also a commentary about our pop culture, and a love note from Matt to the original artists who created these classics and to the dying art used to make classic movie posters.”
The parody presentation is on exhibit daily from October 13th through November 3rd, with an open house 12 to 9 pm on Saturday, October 30th.
ArtInsights Animation & Film Art Gallery is located at Reston Town Center, 11921 Freedom Drive, Reston, VA 20190. Open: Monday to Friday from 10 am until 6 pm, Saturday from 12 pm until 6 pm. More info at ArtInsights.com.
